~ OK, I am snow-fatigued!
~ Just plain and simple, I am tired of snow and frigid temps.
~ Yesterday, on our local news, the weatherman announced
we are 12 inches above normal for the year with "snowfall."
~ My husband is even more snow-fatigued than me.
~ Deer hunting season is over until next October.
He paces back and forth in the house.
The outdoors are calling him ♥
~ He looks out his telescope into the fields behind us,
and in front of us, occasionally spotting a coyote or raccoon,
and sometimes, even deer. Yes, deer!
~ My husband suggested we get all bundled up and go for a walk,
"let's just get out of the house" he says.
But, you can't walk on our snow covered country roads, it's dangerous.
~ So instead, we drive 10 minutes, close to town, to a walking trail.
I snapped a picture of my husband on the trail with my cellphone
Isn't it a dreary day in Indiana?
~ We walked one way for 30 minutes,
and then, we turned around and walked back the other way to our car.
~ We were bundled up good.
The only thing that was really cold on me was my face.
It was in the 20's... but WE GOT OUT OF THE HOUSE!
~ Thanks for stopping by ~

I can so relate to this post!! I am just done with the extra snow and the lower than normal cold temperature! We live in the country, also and it is hard to get out at times. Deer season is over here too and my hubby is the same. I have all kinds of honeydoo things for him but he isn't much interested!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind comments about my mom. She does know us but doesn't retain much short term information. So sad but at least they have each other.
My interview went well and I got the job. It really helped that I knew her as we used to work together at our last employment. Have a great week!
Good luck with the interview! I will say an extra prayer for you, Lisa! It is definitely all about networking these days.
ReplyDeleteWe also eat what my hubby hunts. We usually just make ground deer meat out of it because I'm not big on the bigger pieces! It's not bad, just not what I like. Kenny also is a big fisherman now, too. So I have to get him to do all my honeydoo items before spring!!
Take care and I hope it all works out for you. Let me know!
